</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">These cupcake toppers are easy to make and are adorable! I started by googling image search "halloween cupcake toppers" and came across this free<a href="http://www.dailysuze.com/blog5.php/2010/10/27/free-printable-cupcake-toppers-for-halloween"> printable</a>. I added my own touch by using a circle punch to just cut the image, and a scalloped circle punch for the accent color. I used hot glue in between two scallop punches to insert the toothpick. 3D dots were used to adhere the image and to add some depth to the final product. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

DIY home decor balls are simple to make and only require a few supplies.... hot glue, any kind of rope, yarn, or string (preferably thicker), and a sphere of some sort (styrofoam ball, wiffle ball, etc...).</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheNv3Xx0Cx3eQTQCfSgkbMuvK-WP2AX2JI_XkOomZU1HaNhGgCZGVKOOlUNOn410CFv7TdDNye_Iud_g-2XZfg8UvqiluDkyDFOM1RHkyX12E0cFVlNDnCE3NLVZcLlHS5yBTG5lpPd-Hj/s1600/up+close.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheNv3Xx0Cx3eQTQCfSgkbMuvK-WP2AX2JI_XkOomZU1HaNhGgCZGVKOOlUNOn410CFv7TdDNye_Iud_g-2XZfg8UvqiluDkyDFOM1RHkyX12E0cFVlNDnCE3NLVZcLlHS5yBTG5lpPd-Hj/s320/up+close.jpg" width="239" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">First step is to start at any point with a dab of hot glue and circle the string around the center point, gluing as you are winding the string around and continue until the whole ball is covered. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

Any size box can be used applying the same method as the balls, outcome: you get a cool piece of DIY art. I had the opportunity to travel for work as an Opening Team Trainer for California Pizza Kitchen. I truly missed my blog and working anywhere from 12 to 20 hours a day, there was no time left for crafting! I am home for only two weeks and hope to complete a couple of projects. I am leaving again for another store opening in Mumbai, India!<br />

Christmas tree cones are EVERYWHERE! I have seen so many different styles this year of these trees... using twine, gumdrops, ribbon, feathers, pearls, flowers, buttons, etc. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEge_60OFrUs-w28BvPK_bbma55InQQF0UcQc3yIao6vosCAWwEEsWXXYripdCopW1XNoqGLZ9rlVzvUwoMQt_EJjapnbh285d759dFtDonMtl1sBoCoPoecsmrqOEVciLiJoBz9u-ATjZ7N/s1600/IMG_7669.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEge_60OFrUs-w28BvPK_bbma55InQQF0UcQc3yIao6vosCAWwEEsWXXYripdCopW1XNoqGLZ9rlVzvUwoMQt_EJjapnbh285d759dFtDonMtl1sBoCoPoecsmrqOEVciLiJoBz9u-ATjZ7N/s400/IMG_7669.jpg" width="266" /></span></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Mine are simple and a bit less complicated... I just used speciality paper (and by special I mean expensive!) You can't really see it in the pictures but the print of the paper is textured. I used three different sized styrofoam cones and cut strips of paper 1 inch wide by 1 1/2 inch in length, used "pinking"scissors at the end of each strip and used hot glue to adhere the strips starting from the base up. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-small;">*(to get the paper to flip I slightly curled them using a pen.)</span></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Over the weekend of black friday I kept seeing ribbon bags on sale.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhF89SxBp-WnOxBbFR35eL385Xr-l9s1n-1HIg3fF-LMz_G61JqpeaXTiDS3_D9j4Lzqyv1nMx_m4Jm1CDfjVC-i930_1noSJO7IDPRHmh8D7cMKykGGtHqOe8twMtdN5ZDA_4okfMtS8V/s1600/jen-stewart-ribbon-bag-300x221.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhF89SxBp-WnOxBbFR35eL385Xr-l9s1n-1HIg3fF-LMz_G61JqpeaXTiDS3_D9j4Lzqyv1nMx_m4Jm1CDfjVC-i930_1noSJO7IDPRHmh8D7cMKykGGtHqOe8twMtdN5ZDA_4okfMtS8V/s1600/jen-stewart-ribbon-bag-300x221.jpg" /></a></div><br />
They were priced anywhere from $15 - $30. I thought to myself that is a lot of money for a plastic bag with holes in it...<br />

I wound each ribbon around my fingers before inserting a small strip through the holes, that way it's not going to get tangled with all the other ribbons and when you need to use your ribbon you just select and pull! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">My sister in law picked up this magazine for me the other day... To be honest I have never opened or read through a <a href="http://www.womansday.com/">Woman's Day</a> magazine. They have so many brilliant ideas for October/Fall/Holiday decorating, etc. (There are super cute how-to cupcakes that I might have to attempt to make.) </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: small;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 11px;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">You'll need a styrofoam wreath (I used a 12 in. one, the magazine recommened a 16 in.), black duct tape, wide ribbon, and candy corn (my size wreath took 3 11oz bags, Brach's brand). Start by covering the wreath with the tape. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9FK62AXJKM-o7BXVdBWmydy6n-Ooc7R4XwVu_EhGvKnOpZzb_v4jKQ1fNN83F8NTZ5TJnPA3L0xPu0uaAF6Ym08YomAvVB1O1B5cy4IBBWfLLQ0-_m6e-fFGuHyvT3jl2KBPE5e90hHGY/s1600/2010-09-22+19.34.56.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9FK62AXJKM-o7BXVdBWmydy6n-Ooc7R4XwVu_EhGvKnOpZzb_v4jKQ1fNN83F8NTZ5TJnPA3L0xPu0uaAF6Ym08YomAvVB1O1B5cy4IBBWfLLQ0-_m6e-fFGuHyvT3jl2KBPE5e90hHGY/s320/2010-09-22+19.34.56.jpg" width="320" /></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Start in the middle of the wreath laying candy corn the same direction and continue all the way around... there is going to be a gap once going around, just be sure to start the next row in the same spot each time, you can cover any candy corn free space with the ribbon. Repeat with each row opposite of the once before. Loop ribbon of choice through wreath and hang on a sturdy nail.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">I have been wanting to make one of these necklaces for awhile and have seen them all over at the mall, in magazines, on other blogs, pretty much everywhere. I went to a Bunco party this weekend, and one of the ladies was wearing a Cookie Lee Necklace, as soon as I saw it I had to make it. It was a great piece to see for inspiration but I definitely took some of my own alterations to it. </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">I planned to have a "veg" day and do nothing, but crafting consists of doing nothing, right?! One of my best friends is in town from Hawaii and this was a fun project to work on together and I always enjoy bringing someone over to the crafting dark side...</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">It is a little time consuming but worth the end product! </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span></div><u></u><br />

</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Bare with me because I have a VERY HARD time taking step by step pictures. We told ourselves it wasn't that bad, but I think we were both a couple of glasses of wine into this. (In all honesty I think we didn't want to admit it, but it was HIDEOUS.) I came across two slightly hideous chairs and thought to myself, what a fun project!!! Oh yeah, immediately called my mom to have her pick them up for me (thanks mom!- they were in the same city she lives in and they would have not fit in my car!).</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqoeUldGTyXVt-rRUC_rxVEACbi5dO5kRtu_-00ar_WqiCbenyivqRuszVFzHKZzLUQfFwbm1atsf_qiN8t0BCw9myM7GDFruailJtYzFUI5bD2R3i9vGYrZHAd2wnQQWqibN-lfCJvKnb/s1600/beforechair.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><img border="0" ox="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqoeUldGTyXVt-rRUC_rxVEACbi5dO5kRtu_-00ar_WqiCbenyivqRuszVFzHKZzLUQfFwbm1atsf_qiN8t0BCw9myM7GDFruailJtYzFUI5bD2R3i9vGYrZHAd2wnQQWqibN-lfCJvKnb/s320/beforechair.JPG" /></span></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">How gross is this? </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Only one of the chairs made it for the remodel, the other one was in pretty bad condition.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">I have been wanting an accent chair for my room for awhile but have just been pushing it aside. I initially wanted to paint the chair a mustard yellow and then use the same fabric from this post </span><a href="http://liveitloveitcraftit.blogspot.com/2010/03/faux-headboard-art.html"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Faux Headboard Art</span></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">. Well come to find out it is a special home decor fabric, and it was going to take three weeks to get to me (I don't have that much patience) and it wasn't on sale from when I had originally bought it. Ughhh....</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><img alt="photo.JPG" src="http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik=2cb09fa9bf&view=att&th=12a79204afd1950e&attid=0.1&disp=thd&zw" /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">So taking the original fabric (top) that I had wanted to use, I </span><s><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">decided</span></s><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"> settled on stripes instead. Now the hard part was to decide which color to use.... black stripes with the mustard yellow paint or yellow stripes with black paint. I ended up buying both of the striped fabrics. Next stop was the store for some spray paint (Did you know I am OBSESSED with spray paint?). Of course they have a WHOLE entire aisle of spray paint- and NO mustard yellow. I did end up buying a color I thought would look good, and I tested it on the other chair--- yeah it looked like a school bus.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaTo83lH1SfZfWkGcuQ8A_YFnxo1aIHT2YKvRNHX95yFcT4QvP49YKjoR-OGJj4CnHGl7u_9q5eqpo1M8tUlJAGzGzxiTWaDEBt0w04qTbGJsZgyt2emKnXQ3h3kSaK8LK0k3T9mQYo3-x/s1600/chair.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><img border="0" ox="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaTo83lH1SfZfWkGcuQ8A_YFnxo1aIHT2YKvRNHX95yFcT4QvP49YKjoR-OGJj4CnHGl7u_9q5eqpo1M8tUlJAGzGzxiTWaDEBt0w04qTbGJsZgyt2emKnXQ3h3kSaK8LK0k3T9mQYo3-x/s320/chair.JPG" /></span></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">So by process of elimination I went ahead with the yellow striped fabric and black paint.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">I am in LOVE with how it turned out! It looks really good as an accent piece in my room. As mentioned before check out </span><a href="http://liveitloveitcraftit.blogspot.com/2010/03/faux-headboard-art.html"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">this pos</span></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">t and you will see what I am talking about. </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">It was a bit troubling at time trying to figure out how to reupholster this chair... with A LOT of help from my mom (thanks mom!) we were able to pull it together! Definitely learned a lot for next time, but for now next time is A LONG way aways.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">A couple of weeks ago a good friend of mine invited me to a "Scrapbook Moonlighter". It's a night you scrapbook, gossip about the latest celebrity, or in my case... your favorite blog you have been <s>stalking </s>reading recently. Enjoy some delicious cookies and attempt to have a finished product after by Midnight. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"> It was a lot of fun, but in the mix of working two jobs... I didn't plan very well and didn't come prepared with anything to work on. I pretty much threw together a goody bag of stuff prior to running out of the door. I decided since to work on some cards because I never seem to just have some on hand and have to panic to make one while I am running out the door. So after several hours, this is what I came up with:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Cheese Cloche & A Candle Holder....</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I have seen so many different ideas using both the cheese cloche & a candle holder/base. My favorite redo is over at <a href="http://www.houseofhepworths.com/2010/03/22/cheese-dome-turned-cloche/">House of Hepworths</a> but there are so many different styles and ways to do this project the possibilites are endless! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjKgb2joRpbpJZ8JVl18QpOX-cOoOcWJfu3Or6L8Q3akEFcSfI57UTupBy_Dg3EKfIiSUscFvXru0jJlZwfocAsaQvOSs1dL0-fpvDMgj-sjow3FkRghO1tMbfXH4W6P1AxeJzFU_GAmOr/s1600/Cheese+cloche+before+watermark.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjKgb2joRpbpJZ8JVl18QpOX-cOoOcWJfu3Or6L8Q3akEFcSfI57UTupBy_Dg3EKfIiSUscFvXru0jJlZwfocAsaQvOSs1dL0-fpvDMgj-sjow3FkRghO1tMbfXH4W6P1AxeJzFU_GAmOr/s320/Cheese+cloche+before+watermark.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">It took me awhile to find these two items, searching high and low between good will and garage sales I finally came across two that I like!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I found the cheese cloche at a local garage sale for $1! And the candle base I found at an antique expo for $5. The cheese cloche was in very good shape, so I didn't even have to prep or prime it. I used E6000 glue (this stuff is amazing!) and glued the two together. Then I added a couple coats of spray paint... and here is my finished product.....</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEin4aq-D7wDNWuzN6Fo4ALVTnSJocdZuooZjsHXxmUSU-rHqw5QizTx1MOyUYb96c_tR2OE5UJtVZPEAbYue1d4sul6q596fMYTQQD4APw3HCCx3xxnJTytUIw6QMU8zTRF5qq5qIz0zHQd/s1600/cheese+cloche+watermark.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEin4aq-D7wDNWuzN6Fo4ALVTnSJocdZuooZjsHXxmUSU-rHqw5QizTx1MOyUYb96c_tR2OE5UJtVZPEAbYue1d4sul6q596fMYTQQD4APw3HCCx3xxnJTytUIw6QMU8zTRF5qq5qIz0zHQd/s640/cheese+cloche+watermark.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">As I mentioned, there are so many different ideas out there for these, and all of them are truly amazing. It is rewarding to see how two simple household items can pair together for this great project! I chose to put lemons in my dome, but a lot of women have used an assortment of things... ranging from fruit, cheese, brownies, cupcakes, candy, to even a bird's nest with robin eggs. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Thanks for stopping by! </div><br />

<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">I made this wreath last minute over the weekend. This year has gone by so fast I can't believe the 4th came so quickly, and I almost forgot to make something in celebration!</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">This project took a little bit of time, but it was VERY easy to make! Below are the materials I used... </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuXC2mQyux3bA744o1mAj-cVTQjoyZRg-mK_HZ_jw8LIJFpsGOvGWV6wMzTIj1Z6dqosKpgGV8ywmSrZHY9ihbXJRczmbqkibczG-pD-5FUerZJJnZB9kwFXz6YGsHkMYnhTI9efJTjZYK/s1600/CIMG6509.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuXC2mQyux3bA744o1mAj-cVTQjoyZRg-mK_HZ_jw8LIJFpsGOvGWV6wMzTIj1Z6dqosKpgGV8ywmSrZHY9ihbXJRczmbqkibczG-pD-5FUerZJJnZB9kwFXz6YGsHkMYnhTI9efJTjZYK/s320/CIMG6509.JPG" /></a></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">- Any fabric</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">- Wreath</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">I cut the fabric into strips about two inches wide and eight inches long. (I got a 1/2 yard cut of each fabric and that was perfect!) I alternated the colored strips and just tied them in knots around the wreath. I did not use any adhesive or glue, it was not needed. Once you have completed tying the fabric around the whole wreath you can move the knots (since they aren't glued) and make a pattern alternating them. </div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">Ta da! This project could be used for ANY celebration, just use your choice of fabric! </div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">Hope everyone had a safe holiday! Cheers! </div><br />

(Check out my wine cork votive <a href="http://liveitloveitcraftit.blogspot.com/2010/03/wine-cork-votive.html">post</a>!)</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Anyways, now I have more than I know what to do with. </div><div style="text-align: center;">Over Christmas my mom and I decided to make a wine cork wreath. I l.o.v.e. the way it turned out!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here is how to make a Wine Cork Wreath:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">You can use any size wreath, I used a straw wreath on my first one... but the Dollar Tree sells grapevine wreaths and they work just as good. On a 10' inch size wreath you need about 200+ corks. Simply start by using a hot glue gun and placing the corks side by side (as seen below). </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

<div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">I feel like these pictures just do not do justice! You aren't able to tell how much better they look, but they do! Before they looked very cheap (well probably because they were...) They look SO much better with just a coat of spray paint (and now the sand isn't getting all over the place either). I have seen numerous ceramic birds around at places like Pier One, Pottery Barn, Cost Plus World Market ranging from $5 to $12 a bird. </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
